Internet of Things: BNDES doubles budget for public notice and will support 15 pilot experiments

The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) released the result of the notice for selection of pilot experiments of the Internet of Things (IoT) posted in June last year. The selection focused on supporting solutions applied by nonprofit technological public or private institutions within the scope of each of the following environments: smart cities, rural environment and health. Supported with R$ 30 million, the solutions are intended for 32 cities in 11 Brazilian states.

Net income, which is influenced by extraordinary events such as Petrobras dividends and reversal of provision for credit risk, was BRL 4 bn. Recurring income comes mainly from the lower average balance of Treasury - mainly due to early settlements to the Treasury in the 4th quarter/22. Disbursements totaled BRL 19.1 billion, compared to BRL 14.8 billion in the 1st quarter of 22 Default remained at a low level: 0.06%.
