BNDES’ disbursements reached R$ 54.8 billion by May
Disbursements from the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) reached R$ 54.8 billion between January and May of this year, representing a 20% drop against the same period in 2014. The infrastructure sector, with R$ 20.4 billion, accounted for 37.2% of the total, followed by industry, with R$ 16.3 billion, some 30% of the total.

BNDES disbursements reach R$ 33.3 billion in the first quarter
The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) disbursed R$ 33.3 billion in the first quarter of this year, registering a drop of 24% against the same period in the previous year. Approvals in the amount of R$ 21 billion and consultations in the amount of R$ 25 billion also dropped, respectively, 46% and 47% against the first quarter in 2014.

BNDES signs R$ 6.6 million agreement with Acre’s Ashaninka People
The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) signed a R$ 6.6 million agreement with the Ashaninka Association of the Amônia River within the scope of the Amazon Fund. The operation was approved in February 2015, and the agreement, signed on April 16.

BNDES will host a conference call to present its 2014 Earnings Release on April 20
On April 20, at 11:00 a.m. (EST), at 12:00 p.m. (Brazil time), Selmo Aronovich (Deputy Executive Officer of Financial Division) and Sergio Foldes Guimarães (Deputy Executive Officer of International Division) will host a conference call to present the BNDES`s 2014 Earnings Release and discuss recent developments of the institution. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
