BNDES approves four new projects and ends 2014 with a R$ 6.6 billion record investment in wind farms
The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) ended 2014 with R$ 6.6 billion in investment approvals for new wind power projects, equivalent to 2,585.8 MW of installed power, thus helping place Brazil among the five largest global investors in both wind power and renewable power in general.

Disbursements from the BNDES up to November reach R$ 162 billion and reflect stability
The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) disbursed R$ 162.3 billion in the first 11 months of 2014, reflecting stability compared to the performance in the same period last year. The result up to November also shows a release value similar to the R$ 190 billion in 2013.

BNDES sets new rules for granting financings
The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) carried out a comprehensive revision of its operational policies. The Bank’s aim is to offer the best conditions concerning rates, terms and level of participation for priority sectors. At the same time, the BNDES is enhancing the use of market indexers in its financing and providing more room for other sources so they can also work with long-term financing.

BNDES’ disbursements remain stable until October
The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) ended October with a stable volume of disbursements reaching R$ 146.5 billion in the first 10 months of the year. This means that the Bank should end 2014 with disbursements at a level similar to that recorded last year, when the Bank released R$ 190.4 billion.
