BNDES approves R$ 736.8 million for a hydro plant between Pará and Amapá
The board of directors at the BNDES has approved financing in the amount of R$ 736. 8 million for the construction of the Santo Antônio do Jarí hydroelectric power plant, between the municipalities of Almeirim, in the state of Pará, and Laranjal do Jarí, in the state of Amapá.

BNDES improves rules for accreditation of wind turbines
The BNDES has improved its rules to license and verify the local content of wind turbines manufactured in Brazil. The new method sets physical targets to gradually increase the number of domestic components in the equipment, which will have to be accomplished by the manufacturers according to a previously established schedule.

The BNDES approved a R$ 1.2 billion bridge loan for Aeroportos Brasil – Viracopos S.A., which will expand, modernize and explore the Viracopos International Airport, located 12 km from the Campinas downtown area and 99 km from São Paulo’s central district.
