BNDES approves credit limit of R$ 2.46 billion for Braskem investment program
The BNDES approved a credit limit of R$ 2.46 billion for Braskem S.A. Funds are earmarked to support the investment plan of the petrochemical company in the states of Bahia, Alagoas, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul. The plan includes investments for the 2011-2013 period.

BNDES provides R$ 4.5 million in support for TV series co-produced between Brazil and France
The BNDES will allocate R$ 4.5 million for the production of the television series Vermelho Brasil (Rouge Brésil, in French; Red Brazil, in English). The operation takes place within the Support Program for the Audiovisual Production Sector (BNDES PROCULT).

BNDES will provide financing of US$ 90 million for exports of Brazilian buses to Colombia
The BNDES has approved total financing of US$ 90 million for Scania Latin America Ltda, to the export of up to 454 buses made in Brazil to Colombia. The vehicles will be earmarked for operators that provide public transport services for passengers and are part of the Integrated Public Transport System in Bogotá (SITP).

BNDES will finance US$ 226 million in the construction of offshore support ships
The BNDES approved financing of US$ 226 million for the STX OSV Niterói S.A. shipyard to construct three ships to support oil platforms. The vessels were ordered by DOF Navegação Ltda, a shipowner. With total investment of US$ 390 million, the project is part of the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC) and financing is from the Merchant Marine Fund (FMM).
