The BNDES has approved a bridge loan in the amount of R$ 1.7 billion for Logum Logistics. The resources will be utilized not only to implement a pipeline for transporting ethanol but also to install product collection centers. The logistic system for transporting ethanol to be implemented is part of the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC).

The BNDES approved financing operations to the Sanitation Company of Paraná (Sanepar) of R$ 134.6 million and to the Sanitation Company of Espírito Santo of (CESAN) of R$ 44 million.

The BNDES approved R$ 3 billion in financing for Vivo S/A. The funding is for investments to expand and improve the current network, implement infrastructure required for new technologies between the years 2011 and 2013, as well as research and development.

The BNDES has approved a loan in the amount of R$ 396.5 million for the construction of the Arena das Dunas Stadium in Natal, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, one of the venues for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The funds amount to 75% of the cost of the project, according to the ceiling established by the BNDES ProCopa Arenas program, under which the operation was approved.
